Built on the AR-15 platform and made in the USA, this MK18 pistol pairs 7075-T6 aluminum receivers with a Type III hardcoat anodized black finish. The upper is marked "MK18" and the caliber is marked "5.56." It includes a forward assist, dust cover, and brass deflector, along with a full-length Picatinny top rail featuring T-markings and side L-markings.
The 10.3 inch barrel is chrome-moly-vanadium steel, cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and government profile. It uses a carbine-length gas system and is threaded 1/2x28 TPI with a 1:7 twist. A SureFire Warcomp muzzle device is installed.
The Daniel Defense MK18 RIS II quad rail is 6061-T6 aluminum and measures 9.55 inches. The rail is engraved with U.S. PAT. NO. 7,716,865, CAGE Code 3E3E2, and P/N DD-8020-BK.
Ladder-style Picatinny rail covers are installed for additional grip and protection.
Upgrades include a Geissele SSA Combat flat-face trigger and an ambidextrous charging handle with enlarged latches. The pistol is equipped with an SB Tactical pistol stabilizing brace and a textured polymer pistol grip. Capacity is 30+1, and one MFT polymer STANAG-pattern magazine is included.
