The KR-103FT uses a semi-automatic, gas-operated long-stroke piston system with a rotating bolt, echoing the proven 100-series pattern. It is built on a stamped receiver with mag-well dimples and a smooth top cover, and it features a forged front trunnion and forged bolt carrier for durability.
The 16.33 inch chrome-lined barrel is paired with a 90-degree gas block and a threaded muzzle fitted with an AK-74/100-series two-chamber brake marked "7.62" with the Kalashnikov "K" logo. A cleaning rod is installed under the barrel.
The rifle is configured with a fixed black polymer stock (13.0 inch length of pull) and a right-side sling loop, a black polymer pistol grip with checkered panels, and 100-series style polymer handguards with a ribbed lower.
