NEF Handi Rifle SB2 Single-Shot .308 Win Break-Open Rifle with 22" Barrel and Wood Stock
This New England Firearms (NEF) Handi Rifle SB2 is a break-open, exposed-hammer, single-shot rifle chambered in .308 Win. It features a blued/black-oxide finish, a 22" barrel marked "HANDI RIFLE SB2" and "CAL .308 WIN", and a stained hardwood stock with a ventilated recoil pad and spacer. This example also has a knurled hammer-spur extension installed and includes additional NEF/H&R paperwork.

Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: This firearm is in solid functional shape. There are scratches and blemishes present. The bore is clean and shiny. Very minor, very light pitting is present.

Built on the SB2 series, this Handi Rifle uses a break-open, single-shot action with an exposed hammer and a right-side knurled cylindrical action-opening lever/button. It is marked "NEW ENGLAND FIREARMS", "MANUFACTURED IN GARDNER, MA U.S.A.", and "U.S. PAT. NO. 3988848" on the receiver.
The rifle is configured with a stained hardwood stock and matching wood fore-end. Stock features include a rear sling-swivel stud and a ventilated recoil pad with a spacer, and the length of pull is listed at 14.0.
This .308 Win barrel is 22" long, appears unthreaded at the muzzle, and the rifle is a 1-round capacity design. An extractor/ejector component is visible at the breech end (function not confirmable from photos).
Additional features noted include a scope mount and rails. The included 22" .223 barrel provides an additional barrel option as listed in the included items.
