This Specialist is a full-size 5-inch 1911 in 9mm with a stainless steel frame and slide, finished in matte bead-blasted stainless. It is built in the USA and configured with an integral accessory rail on the dust cover for mounting compatible equipment. The design emphasizes control, durability, and efficient handling.
The match-grade, bushing-type barrel supports precise shooting, while the long, solid, vertically grooved trigger provides a consistent press. An undercut trigger guard, checkered frontstrap and mainspring housing, and aggressive textured gray synthetic grip panels (G10-type) give a secure, high-grip interface. A beavertail grip safety with raised pad and a manual thumb safety add confident, familiar 1911 control.
Slide details include a flattened, serrated top rib to reduce glare, rear-only cocking serrations, and a lowered and flared ejection port. A recessed (countersunk) slide-stop pad helps prevent unintended contact. The skeletonized commander-style hammer complements the duty-focused build.
