This is a Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless in .32 ACP with the later 3.75 inch configuration most commonly associated with the Type III pattern. It is marked with the classic Colt rollmarks, including "COLT AUTOMATIC" and "CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" on the slide.
The right side of the slide shows the patent and Hartford address block with "PATENTED" dates "APR.20.1897. DEC.22.1903" and "COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG.
CO." over "HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.". Rear slide serrations are present for manual operation, and the pistol uses a single-action, blowback action type.
This example is fitted with black checkered molded grips featuring a large "COLT" at the top and a Rampant Colt medallion motif. Safety equipment includes both a manual thumb safety and a grip safety, consistent with the Pocket Hammerless series design.
Additional observed details include a contrasting yellow-toned trigger and some small controls and pins. The serial number on the frame is 240115, and the supplied Colt serial lookup indicates a 1917 year of manufacture (high confidence).
