The Heritage Commemorative treatment sets this revolver apart with gold-inlaid portraits of Samuel Walker and Samuel Colt. The right barrel lug bears a gold-inlaid "U.S. 1847," and the left lug carries a gold banner reading "The Colt Heritage Commemorative." The factory engraving complements the Ormsby-style roll-engraved cylinder scene associated with the original Walker.
This is an authentic Colt-marked 2nd Generation blackpowder reproduction, built in the tradition of the 1847 pattern. It uses the open-top frame with loading lever and plunger, a brass square-back trigger guard, and a brass grip frame. The frame/receiver shows a color case-hardened finish, while the barrel and cylinder are blued.
Chambered in .44 percussion with a six-shot cylinder and a 9-inch barrel, it follows the Walker format closely. Sights are simple and correct for the pattern: a brass blade front and a hammer notch rear. The one-piece walnut grip completes the period configuration.
Markings include the classic barrel address "ADDRESS. SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY." The commemorative uses the "C COMPANY" serial style on multiple parts, repeated on the frame, cylinder, trigger guard, and butt, tying the presentation together across components.
