STI DVC Limited 5.0 .40 S&W 2011 Pistol – 5-inch TiN-Coated Bull Barrel, Hard Chrome, 18+1
The STI International DVC Limited (DVC‑L) 5.0 is a full-size, .40 S&W competition 2011 built in the USA and configured for USPSA Limited/IPSC Standard. It pairs a TiN-coated, bushingless bull barrel with a hard chrome slide and frame, and features extensive slide lightening cuts and top windows. This model was discontinued when STI rebranded to Staccato in 2020.

This DVC Limited 5.0 is built on STI’s modular 2011 double-stack frame and sized for full-size competition use. It is a single-action .40 S&W pistol with an 18+1 capacity, designed and marked for the DVC Limited series. Manufacture and markings reflect STI’s Georgetown, Texas origin.
The 5-inch bull barrel is TiN-coated and uses a bushingless lock-up. This setup is purpose-built for competition and complements the single-action trigger system.
The hard chrome finish covers both slide and frame. The slide features three top windows, side relief cuts, and front and rear serrations. Factory rollmarks include "DVC LIMITED" on the slide, "2011" on the frame, ".40 S&W" on the barrel hood, the STI Texas-outline logo on the slide, and "STI INTERNATIONAL, GEORGETOWN, TX USA" on the dustcover.
Controls and ergonomics are competition-oriented: an ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, extended magazine release, and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. The grip is the black textured polymer 2011 module with aggressive scale-like texturing for a secure hold.
Sights are a red fiber-optic, dovetailed front paired with a fully adjustable black rear. The configuration aligns with its USPSA Limited/IPSC Standard competition focus and the model’s DVC Limited specification.
