The Akira’s slide is finished in a two-tone scheme with polished flats and a darker upper. Front and rear chevron cocking serrations provide positive purchase, while lightening windows near the muzzle and a top window/porting pattern showcase the barrel work and reduce slide weight. The rear sight is plain black and integrated into the optic plate, paired with a red fiber-optic front for a clear iron sight picture.
The factory 4.6 in ported bull barrel is a model highlight. It is ported with eight total ports—three per side and two on top—executed to match the slide’s top window/ports. The bore is described as clean with a mirror finish and sharp rifling.
The pistol employs single-action, semi-automatic operation on a 1911 platform with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety. A flat-faced, tuned trigger and a skeletonized hammer round out the fire-control details. The aluminum grip panels use a medium hex/dimple texture for confident handling.
Capacity is 20+1 in 9mm Luger. The included double-stack magazine features an extended basepad and witness marks at 5, 10, 15, and 20. An accessory rail with three slots is machined into the dust cover for mounting compatible lights. The slide includes an RMR/SRO-footprint optic interface with a cover plate marked "RMR/SRO R2," and the model carries a distinctive AKIRA-#### serialization format. Made in the USA by CNC Gunworks in Frisco, Texas.
