Built on Sig Sauer's P938 series, this SAS AMBI variant combines a micro-sized footprint with a 1911-style platform and single-action-only operation. The manual thumb safety is paired with an ambidextrous safety setup, matching the AMBI configuration.
The SAS (Anti-Snag) slide is part of the pistol's two-tone appearance, with a light-colored slide over a dark-colored alloy frame. Slide markings include "SIG SAUER P938" on the left side and "SAS" on the right side with the SIG SAUER logo/crest.
This pistol is equipped with fixed SIGLITE iron sights. The front and rear sights are both marked "MH3 AP," providing a consistent matched sight set.
Additional factory markings include "SIG SAUER INC. / EXETER-NH-USA" on the frame and "9mm Para" on the barrel hood. The factory case label lists the configuration as "P938, 9MM, 3IN, SAS, 2 TONE, SAO, SIGLITE, WALNUT" with a label date of 26-OCT-2016, and the serial number matches the case label.
