The Anderson AM-15 Dark Horse is a forged 7075-T6 AR-15 pattern rifle in 5.56 NATO, built with a 16 in nitrided steel barrel (1:8 twist) and a free-float ~15 in aluminum M-LOK handguard with a continuous top Picatinny rail. It features a flat-top A3 upper with forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port cover, plus a six-position M4-type stock. Condition is almost Like-New, except for no owner's manual or original paperwork. Anderson brand discontinued July 1, 2025.

Built on forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers with a black anodized finish, this AM-15 Dark Horse follows the AR-15 pattern and uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement action. The flat-top A3 upper includes a forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port cover, and the rifle is made in the USA.
The 16 in nitrided steel barrel uses a 1:8 twist and 1/2x28 TPI threads capped with an A2 birdcage flash hider. Its free-float ~15 in aluminum M-LOK handguard has anti-rotation clamping and a continuous top Picatinny rail for mounting accessories. A short vertical foregrip is installed on the handguard.
Furniture includes a six-position M4-type collapsible stock and an A2-style pistol grip. No iron sights are included. The lower is factory marked "ANDERSON MANUFACTURING / AM-15 / MULTI CAL / Hebron, KY."
Capacity is 30+1 and the rifle comes with a 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 polymer magazine. Overall length is approximately 39.9 in and weight is about 7 lb. The rifle ships in the original factory cardboard box with a model/serial label that matches the rifle.
