It features a 1:7 RH twist for 5.56 NATO, is threaded, and is fitted with an A2 birdcage flash hider. The barrel is stamped "5.56 NATO," and the rifle has a 30+1 capacity using standard STANAG/AR-15 pattern magazines.
Controls and sights are set up for practical use: a left-side charging handle, ambidextrous manual safety, and integrated flip-up iron sights with a front post and rear aperture. The full-length T-marked Picatinny top rail provides mounting real estate, and this rifle includes bolt-on rail sections at 3 and 6 o'clock plus a Midwest Industries clamp/segment on the top rail.
