The rifle is built on the M1 platform with a fixed wood stock and matching wood handguard. The stock is a non-standard commercial-style fixed stock with a large rectangular cutout through the butt area.
Sight configuration is straightforward and functional, with a wing/protective-ear style front sight base and post, paired with an aperture-style rear sight featuring a knurled, adjustable windage knob. The iron sights are well-suited to the carbine’s intended role and keep the setup simple.
Markings are clearly identified on the receiver/chamber area, and the serial number is visible on the top of the receiver near/under the rear sight. The rifle also shows multiple rivet holes consistent with a multi-rivet handguard pattern.
