HS Produkt Kuna 9mm AR Pistol — 6" Threaded Barrel, Roller-Delayed Blowback, Flip-Up Metal Sights, Black
The HS Produkt Kuna is a recent 9mm AR-format pistol made in Croatia and imported by Springfield Armory. Notable features include a roller-delayed blowback action, a 6" cold hammer-forged Melonite-treated barrel with 1/2x28 threads and a multi-port muzzle brake, and fully ambidextrous controls. A monolithic aluminum upper with an integral M-LOK handguard and a full-length numbered Picatinny top rail round out a compact package measuring 15.5" overall and weighing 4 lb 10 oz. This example is in excellent condition and includes two 30-round translucent magazines.

The Kuna operates via a roller-delayed blowback system in a semi-automatic configuration. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety selector, magazine release (paddle-style), and bolt controls. The charging handle is reversible, non-reciprocating, and folds when not in use.
Its 6" barrel is cold hammer-forged, Melonite treated, and threaded 1/2x28. A multi-port muzzle brake is installed. The 1:10 twist supports common 9mm loads, and the bore presents a clean, mirror finish with sharp rifling.
The upper is a monolithic aluminum assembly with an integral M-LOK handguard and a full-length numbered Picatinny top rail. The lower/frame is glass-filled polymer with an AR-pattern pistol grip featuring Adaptive Grip Texture. Flip-up metal front and rear sights are included.
Capacity is 30+1 rounds. Overall length is 15.5", with a weight of 4 lb 10 oz. The pistol is finished in black, with the upper receiver Type III hardcoat anodized and the lower in black polymer. Origin is Croatia (HS Produkt, Karlovac), imported by Springfield Armory, Geneseo, IL. The model launched in April 2025 and bears Springfield Armory and HS Produkt import and origin markings.
