Built on the AR-15 platform with a direct impingement action, this S-15 uses a standard magazine release and a selector safety. The upper includes a forward assist and an ejection-port cover, matching the classic carry-handle configuration.
The sight setup is straightforward and durable: a fixed A-frame front sight tower paired with a fixed carry-handle rear sight assembly. This configuration keeps the rifle focused on a traditional iron-sight layout.
Up front, it has two-piece ribbed polymer handguards with a delta ring. Out back, it uses a telescoping, adjustable polymer stock with a reported adjustable length of pull of 10–13 in.
