This example also shows documented custom components, including a TROY-marked pistol grip and a LANTAC-marked multi-port muzzle device marked "PATENTED SN-B-14744."

Built on a compact bullpup layout, the M17S308 keeps a 16" barrel in a shorter overall configuration while maintaining 7.62mm NATO / .308 capability. The right-side ejection port opening is visible, and the receiver is clearly marked with the K&M Arms oval logo, "M17S," and "MOD. M17S308."
This rifle uses a short-stroke gas piston action and is noted with an adjustable trigger pull through a patented trigger linkage. A skeletonized trigger shoe is visible, matching the rifle’s modern, purpose-driven layout.
The top of the rifle is set up with a full-length Picatinny rail and also includes additional short accessory rail sections near the front. The fore-end/handguard features elongated cooling/vent slots and circular/oval ports with a ribbed, extruded appearance.
Custom details on this example include a TROY-marked pistol grip and a LANTAC-marked multi-port muzzle device, marked "PATENTED SN-B-14744." The barrel is marked "7.62MM NATO," and the rifle is finished in a matte/dark protective finish.
