This 77/17 is rollmarked "RUGER 77/17" with the Ruger phoenix logo on the receiver. It is set up with a right-hand bolt handle and a two-tone appearance with a silver-finished barrel and bolt contrasted by a dark-finished receiver.
The Airrow Rimfire-type barrel system is the defining feature of this build. The barrel is marked for .22 blanks only and is described as purpose-developed strictly for launching arrows or tranquilizers, making this a specialized configuration within the 77/17 series.
An 18" shrouded barrel assembly with a large slotted, open-front cylindrical muzzle shroud/outer barrel is fitted, giving the front end a distinctive profile.
