Marked as a Colt’s Mk IV / Series '70 Government Model, the slide is stamped "COLT’S MK IV / SERIES ’70" over "GOVERNMENT MODEL" and "COLT .38 SUPER AUTOMATIC." The barrel hood is marked "COLT SUPER 38 AUTO NM," matching the National Match barrel configuration shown on the case label.
This pistol is finished in a two-tone scheme with a dark frame and a bright/polished slide, complemented by rear vertical cocking serrations. It is fitted with fixed iron sights using a front blade and rear notch arrangement.
