CT. U.S.A." The serial number is a D-suffix example, with "26437D" stamped on the left side of the frame.
It is built around a compact, single-shot, hammer-fired action with an external hammer and a spur-type trigger. The barrel assembly is hinged/pivoting and uses a checkered top latch/release at the breech area, a defining feature of the design.
