This Modell PP is marked "Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do." and "Modell PP-Cal. 9mm kurz" on the slide, with the Walther banner also present. The pistol shows the Ulm antler proof mark, the eagle-over-N nitro proof mark, and a two-digit proof-year stamp "80" consistent with 1980 proofing.
It is INTERARMS import-marked "INTERARMS / ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA" and also shows a compass-rose style logo near the importer text. These markings, along with the West Germany origin, make this an especially well-documented example of post-war PP production.
Configuration details include a steel frame, fixed iron sights with a front blade and a rear notch that appears dovetailed, and a traditional DA/SA trigger system. The slide-mounted safety/decocker includes a red dot indicator, and the pistol uses a push-button magazine release.
Other defining PP touches include the ring/loop-style hammer and checkered black synthetic grip panels with a molded Walther banner and molded "Made in Germany" text. The visible serial on the slide is 33003, and the frame is marked 33003A behind the trigger guard in vertical orientation.
