The 1020 G2 uses an inertia-driven operating system and is configured with a 28" vent rib barrel and a front bead sight. This setup keeps the sight picture straightforward while providing the long, ribbed barrel profile many shooters prefer on a semi-auto field gun.
The furniture is wood, with checkering on both the grip and the fore-end for added control. The shotgun also has a black recoil pad with molded emblem/lettering.
Receiver markings include "G2" and "CZ 1020 G2," and the barrel and receiver are additionally marked "CZ-USA Kansas City, KS" and "HUGLU 20 ga. 3" Made in Türkiye." The right-side ejection port shows a bright/silver bolt body, and the bolt handle is also bright/silver with lightening holes.
