The LCR-22 combines a 7000-series aluminum monolithic frame with a polymer fire control housing, keeping the revolver compact while maintaining the LCR's distinctive construction. It is finished in black and fitted with a black rubber-like grip with pebble-texture panels and a visible grip screw at the butt.
This example uses Ruger's enclosed/hidden hammer design and a double-action-only operating system. The trigger is described as a patented friction-reducing cam with a non-stacking DAO trigger pull.
Sight configuration is straightforward and durable, with fixed sights consisting of a pinned ramp-style front blade and an integral rear notch in the topstrap. The cylinder is an 8-shot, fluted stainless steel unit with a dark PVD finish, and it uses a push-button style cylinder release on the left side behind the cylinder.
Markings include "RUGER LCR" and "22 LR" on the barrel. The factory box label shows a date of 2014/05/19, and the serial number on the firearm matches the box label.
