The Scout configuration pairs a 16.5 in barrel with a two-chamber, side-ported muzzle brake and a large round, knurled-style bolt knob. The result is a compact Model 110 setup that stays straightforward and purpose-driven, with features that are easy to verify at a glance.
For sights, this rifle is fitted with iron sights: a Williams aperture rear sight and a protected post/blade-style front sight. A one-piece Picatinny-style top rail is also installed on top of the receiver for a stable mounting surface.
The synthetic stock is finished in flat dark earth/tan and uses Savage's AccuFit system with included spacer inserts for adjustable length of pull and interchangeable risers for an adjustable comb. It also includes a recoil pad, textured grip panels, and sling swivel stud(s). Molded/embossed "SAVAGE" branding is present on the stock, along with a red "M" emblem inset at the grip-cap area.
Markings include "SAVAGE Model 110 .223 Rem CALIBER" on the barrel and a partially obscured manufacturer line reading "SAVAGE ARMS INC. WESTFIELD, MA 01085 USA." A small stacked numeric stamp "29" over "429" is also present on the barrel. The serial number visible on the receiver begins with "P."
