    This U.S. Remington Model 03-A3 (M1903A3) is a WWII-era bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 and manufactured in 1943. It features the receiver-mounted aperture rear sight associated with the 03-A3 pattern, along with a full-length wood stock and separate upper handguard. Markings on the receiver ring and barrel include period-correct military identifiers that help document its configuration and production era.

    It is configured with iron sights, including a front blade sight on a fixed base near the muzzle and a receiver-mounted aperture (peep) rear sight. The rifle wears a matte, military-style finish.

    The wood furniture consists of a full-length stock with a separate upper handguard. It also has two barrel bands and band-mounted sling hardware, including a stacking-type hook/swivel, plus a bayonet-lug type front band/mounting structure.

    Additional observed details include a metal checkered buttplate with a trapdoor and small inspection/assembly-style marks on the underside of the fore-end (not fully legible).
