DWM P.08 Luger 1916-Dated 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol with Matching Numbers and 4-Inch Barrel
This DWM P.08 Luger is a German-made, 1916-dated example from the WWI era, featuring the classic toggle-locked short-recoil action with an exposed articulated knee-joint assembly. The toggle link is marked with the DWM monogram, and the safety is GESICHERT marked. This pistol is numbers matched, with multiple small parts showing last-two-digit style numbering consistent with matching-number identification, while the included magazine is not numbers matched to the pistol.

This is a full-size P.08 Luger chambered in 9mm Luger with a stated 4-inch barrel and an 8+1 capacity. It is built on a steel frame with a blued finish, matching the blued slide and overall blued finish color.
Markings include the DWM monogram on the toggle link and the chamber/receiver ring dated "1916". Proof/inspection-style stamped marks are present but not fully legible.
Features include fixed iron sights with a front blade and rear notch, plus a manual safety with GESICHERT marking. A lanyard loop is present at the heel of the grip frame, and the pistol wears checkered wooden grip panels.
This example stands out with its matching-numbers configuration across the pistol itself, supported by last-two-digit style numbering on multiple small parts. The included magazine is a correct-capacity 8-round magazine, but it is not numbers matched to the pistol.
