This C3 uses the proven 1911 platform in a compact size, combining a 4.25 in bushing-style barrel and slide with a shortened grip frame for a CCO-style profile. The non-railed dust cover, rear-only vertical slide serrations, and dehorned edges contribute to a streamlined, carry-ready form factor.
The two-tone finish pairs a matte stainless SIG-profile slide with a black hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy frame. Grip and control surfaces are thoughtfully executed with a checkered front strap and a flat, checkered mainspring housing. Slim, checkered rosewood panels with SIG SAUER medallions complete the grip set.
Controls and fire-control components are true to form: single-action only operation with a thumb safety and beavertail grip safety, a skeletonized commander-style hammer, and a curved aluminum trigger shoe. Fixed 3-dot contrast sights offer a clear, straightforward sight picture.
The slide features an external extractor and a lowered and flared ejection port for reliable extraction and ejection. Marked Exeter, NH, and originating from the 2010s era, this example is identified by mfg part number 1911CO-45-T-C3 and includes two 6-round magazines for a 6+1 capacity.
