The 2-inch barrel is paired with an underlug/barrel shroud, and the ejector rod is present and partially shrouded.
The DA/SA action uses an exposed spurred hammer and a smooth-faced trigger. It is fitted with a black rubber finger-groove grip featuring the Taurus bull logo for a secure, consistent hold.
Sight setup is straightforward and durable, using fixed sights with a ramp-style blade front sight with transverse serrations and an integral rear notch in the topstrap. The barrel is marked ".357 MAG," and the revolver is also noted as compatible with .38 Special due to its .357 Magnum chambering.
