Configured as a single-action percussion revolver, this 1858 Remington reproduction uses a six-chamber cylinder with six percussion nipples. The under-barrel loading lever/rammer is present, matching the traditional Remington-style layout.
The revolver is CVA import marked and also marked "F.LLI PIETTA - MADE IN ITALY" on the barrel, with additional small proof/inspection stamps near the frame that are not fully legible. A serial marking beginning with "R" is visible on the butt/grip frame strap, and an additional numeric marking is stamped on an exposed flat beneath the barrel area.
Construction includes a brass frame and a steel cylinder with a blued/black finish, paired with two-piece wood grip panels. Fixed sights are used, with a blade/post front sight and a rear sight notch cut into the frame/top strap.
