The LE6900 Light Carbine uses a direct impingement action and is chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 1:8 twist rate. The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a muzzle device with an A2-style flash hider profile.
This example is configured with a flat-top upper receiver featuring a full-length Picatinny top rail. The upper is a slick-side configuration with no forward assist visible and no dust cover visible, keeping the exterior profile clean and straightforward.
Up front, the smooth tubular free-float handguard includes a short top Picatinny rail section that the Magpul-branded folding polymer front sight is mounted to. A matching Magpul-branded folding rear sight is also installed, providing a complete folding iron sight setup.
The rifle is equipped with a polymer, collapsible multi-position stock and an A2-style polymer pistol grip. Controls include a selector lever safety marked SAFE/FIRE, and the length of pull is listed at 12.75.
