- Mauser Mod. 3000 L (Left-Hand) bolt-action rifle
Made by Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf a.N., this Mod. 3000 L is marked "MADE IN GERMANY" and features the Mauser banner/logo on the receiver bridge. It dates to the late 1960s through the early/mid-1970s era and is configured as a left-hand rifle with the bolt handle on the left side.
Chambered in .375 H&H Mag., this rifle is set up with a 25.5 inch barrel and a 3-round capacity. It also includes barrel-mounted iron sights, with a ramped blade front sight and an open/notch rear sight.
The stock is a gloss-finished wood Monte Carlo style with a cheekpiece, checkered pistol grip and fore-end, and a recoil pad marked "MSP." The wood shows a contrasting fore-end tip and a grip cap with light-colored spacer lines, along with sling swivel studs and a visible circular crossbolt/escutcheon on the fore-end.
For left-handed shooters, the Mod. 3000 L configuration is the key draw. The left-side bolt handle provides a layout that suits left-handed operation without requiring workarounds common to right-hand actions.
