Built on the AR-15 platform, this BCA15 uses a direct impingement action and includes standard controls with a manual safety selector marked "SAFE" and "FIRE" and a standard magazine release.
The right-side charging setup is a standout configuration within the BC-15 Series. The upper receiver is marked "BEAR CREEK ARSENAL," matching the branded lower receiver markings.
Up front, the rifle is equipped with a free-float M-LOK handguard and a Picatinny-style top rail running along the upper/handguard for a consistent rail surface. A folding sight is installed on the top rail, and there is no fixed front sight tower.
