Built on the L579 Forester action, this rifle is marked with “FORESTER,” “MADE IN FINLAND,” and “SAKO” on the barrel, with small proof/inspection symbols including “RA.” The receiver is blued steel, and the barrel is unthreaded with a plain crown.
The stock is walnut and features a Monte Carlo comb with cheekpiece, plus checkering on the pistol grip and fore-end. It is fitted with a black Sako-logo buttplate and has front and rear sling swivel studs/eyes.
Capacity is a 4-round internal magazine with a hinged floorplate. Sights are not present, keeping the setup focused on optic mounting via the integral Sako-style tapered dovetail receiver top and the included installed rings.
