Built around a small-frame, 6-chamber design, this Model 856 keeps the classic snub-nose format while offering a full 6-round capacity in .38 Spl. The swing-out cylinder and shrouded ejector rod/underlug give it a clean, streamlined profile.
The revolver is configured with DA/SA operation and a spurred/exposed hammer. It also includes a transfer-bar safety system.
Sighting is straightforward with fixed sights, featuring a serrated front sight face and a fixed rear sight notch machined into the top strap in a gutter/notch style.
The black rubberized grip has molded texture and a finger-groove profile. Taurus bull logo markings are present on the frame and grip.
