It is KSI Pomona CA import marked and configured with a fixed hardwood stock, matching wood pistol grip, and hardwood upper and lower handguards. A cylindrical multi-port muzzle device is installed, and the rifle includes multiple detachable AK-pattern steel magazines and an attached green fabric sling.

Built around a stamped-sheet receiver with rivet construction, this MAK-90 Sporter keeps the classic AK layout with a gas-operated, long-stroke piston action and a right-side safety/selector lever. The ribbed top cover and steel receiver are finished in a black/blued color.
The wood furniture set includes a fixed hardwood buttstock with a 12.5 length of pull, a wood pistol grip, and hardwood upper and lower handguards. The lower handguard is cut with elongated vent slots, giving it a distinctive look compared to more common vent patterns.
For sighting, it uses iron sights with an AK-pattern front sight block with protective ears and an AK-pattern tangent rear sight with a sliding elevation ramp. The barrel length is reported as 16.25 inches.
Markings include the KSI POMONA CA import stamp, and an additional partial serial-style marking "05374" is observed on the bolt carrier and also appears on the top cover.
