Built on Smith & Wesson's X-Frame, this Model 460XVR is a swing-out cylinder revolver with a visible 5-shot cylinder. It is configured as a DA/SA revolver with an exposed spurred hammer, giving the user both double-action and single-action operation.
The barrel assembly is fitted with a ported muzzle brake/compensator-style muzzle device. The revolver is also equipped with iron sights, including a front sight with a green fiber-optic-style element and a rear sight that appears adjustable.
Up top, the revolver features a top strap rail/base secured with visible fasteners. The sale includes the installed multi-slot rail/base as well as a second detached multi-slot rail/base piece, as shown.
