    What’s Included

    • El Paso Saddlery leather belt holster
    • Two unmarked GI-style steel 7-round single-stack 1911 magazines
    • Natural-material stag/bone-style grip panels (installed)

Manufactured in 1941, this full-size Colt M1911A1 reflects its WWII service role with UNITED STATES PROPERTY marking on the frame and M1911A1 U.S. ARMY slide marking. The left slide legend bears the Colt maker mark and Rampant Colt logo. Military proofs include a P proof on the slide forward of the rear sight, a P proof on the frame above the magazine release, and the Colt VP verified proof in a triangle on the left front of the trigger guard.

The pistol has a matte gray Parkerized finish on its carbon steel slide and frame. Core A1 features include frame relief cuts behind the trigger, an arched mainspring housing, and a longer grip-safety tang. It retains GI pattern details such as the unmodified ejection port, small blade front sight and square-notch rear sight, a checkered-face recoil spring plug, a wide checkered spur hammer, a short trigger, and a checkered magazine release.

Built on the 1911 platform, it is a single-action, short-recoil operated .45 ACP with a 5 inch barrel. The Government-model configuration uses a 7-round single-column magazine system for a 7+1 capacity. Safety equipment includes a manual thumb safety, grip safety, inertial firing pin, and a half-cock notch.

This example is fitted with non-factory natural-material stag/bone-style grip panels. It is accompanied by two unmarked GI-style steel 7-round magazines and an El Paso Saddlery leather belt holster.
