WHAT'S INCLUDED
- Leather holster (brown, basketweave-pattern)
Built on Colt's D-frame, this Police Positive Special pairs a compact profile with a traditional double-action/single-action trigger and an exposed hammer. The steel frame and dark blued/black finish reflect the classic look associated with early 20th-century Colt service revolvers.
This revolver uses fixed sights with a rear topstrap groove/notch. The front blade is integral to the barrel design, and this example is missing the front sight, which is important to note for aiming and originality.
Details consistent with the model include the swing-out 6-shot fluted cylinder, an unshrouded ejector rod with a knurled tip, and a checkered rounded Colt-style cylinder latch. The revolver is marked ".38 SPECIAL" on the barrel, and the serial number is visible on the crane/yoke area with additional small letters beneath that are not fully legible.
It is fitted with smooth white grip panels secured by a single grip screw per side. A brown basketweave-pattern leather holster is included with the sale.
