The KSG's bullpup layout keeps the overall package compact while retaining an 18.5" barrel. This one is identified as the standard 18.5-inch-barrel KSG pattern (not KSG25) and is built with a polymer receiver and a steel barrel.
It is chambered for 3" shells and uses a fixed cylinder bore. The dual under-barrel magazine tubes feed through a manual tube-selector system, and the listed capacity is 12+1.
This shotgun is equipped with a full-length numbered Picatinny-style top rail, and a Monstrum-marked rail riser/accessory block is installed on that top rail. An additional short Picatinny rail section is mounted on the left/front side of the forend area.
Installed at the muzzle is an S&J Tactical-marked ported muzzle device with a crenellated front. Forward of the twin magazine tubes, this example also has conical spike-like metal protrusions installed.
Markings include "KSG," "PATENTS PENDING," "COCOA FL USA," and "12 GAUGE 3". It features a pump/forend handle with circular lightening holes and a KelTec-branded recoil pad, and the KSG line is noted for downward ejection.
