The MAC 9 DS pairs a forged steel slide and frame with a textured polymer grip module that carries MAC logo medallions. The grip treatment includes a checkered frontstrap and mainspring housing, plus a flared aluminum magazine well for efficient reloads. Capacity is 17+1 with the included steel double-stack magazines.
Its 4.25 in bushingless bull barrel uses a QPQ Tenifer finish and 11° target crown. Front and rear cocking serrations on the slide aid manipulation, and the dustcover integrates an M1913/Picatinny accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers.
Sight regulation comes from a green fiber-optic front and a plain black serrated rear. The slide is cut for the Agency Arms AOS system, with the cover plate installed and multiple AOS plates included. The AOS setup uses plates that integrate the rear sight into the mounting plate.
Controls are single-action with an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety. A skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized trigger with three lightening cuts complete the fire-control group.
