The 26-inch barrel is marked "Winchester Proof Steel" and is crowned. Sighting is via a ramped front with a dovetailed blade and a barrel-mounted adjustable rear sight (elevator-style), offering a clear, traditional sight picture.
The steel receiver wears a blued finish and is drilled and tapped for scope bases. Winchester oval WP proof marks are present on the barrel and receiver, confirming factory proofing. The overall finish is consistent and clean throughout.
