This Springfield Armory XD-M Elite 3.8 Compact in 9mm pairs a forged steel slide with a Melonite finish and a 3.8 inch match-grade, hammer-forged barrel. It features ambidextrous controls, robust safety systems, and high-visibility U-Dot sights. This example includes two factory stainless-steel 13-round magazines, a removable short magwell (not installed), and shows excellent overall condition with clean internals.

The 3.8 inch match-grade, hammer-forged barrel with a 1:10 twist and Melonite treatment is built for durability and consistent accuracy. The forged steel slide wears a matching Melonite finish and carries both front and rear serrations for positive manipulation.
The XD-M Elite fire-control system is striker-fired with a flat-faced trigger, safety blade, and short reset. Safeties include a grip safety, trigger safety, loaded chamber indicator, and cocked striker indicator for clear, tactile status checks.
Ergonomics and handling are supported by ambidextrous slide stops and an ambidextrous magazine release. A 3-slot accessory rail on the dust cover allows mounting of compatible lights or lasers. Capacity is 13+1 with the included compact stainless-steel magazines.
Sights are a red fiber-optic front and a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear, both dovetailed. This example has a non-OSP slide with no optics cut, as specified. Marked by HS Produkt, it was manufactured in Croatia for Springfield Armory, and shows matching serial markings on the barrel hood and dust-cover plate.
