The No. 1B Standard Rifle pairs Ruger’s strong, hammerless falling-block action with a 26-inch round blued barrel chambered in .25-06 Remington. This configuration emphasizes clean lines and reliable function with a single-shot underlever design and a capacity of one round.
The barrel is fitted with Ruger’s quarter rib and has no iron sights, providing a clean top profile. The factory rib includes integral cuts for Ruger rings, and this rifle comes with the rings already installed.
The walnut stock set is classic No. 1B: checkered walnut with a pistol grip, a beavertail forend, and a grip cap featuring the Ruger medallion. Sling swivel studs and a rubber buttpad are installed, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Ruger’s fore-end hanger system isolates the forend from the barrel to support consistent barrel harmonics. Additional features include a top-tang sliding safety and all-steel construction with a uniform blued finish. Made in the United States in 1997.
