The Sa vz. 61 is built around a simple blowback, closed-bolt action in .32 ACP and uses a forward-of-trigger magazine location for its compact profile. Capacity is 20+1 with the included factory-type curved metal magazines. The selector legend is marked "0/1."
Dimensions and weight are true to the micro format: 115 mm (4.53 in) barrel length, 273 mm (10.75 in) overall length, and 1.29 kg (2.84 lb) without a magazine. A lanyard loop is fitted at the base of the grip.
Construction is all-steel with a black-painted receiver and upper paired to a blued lower. The grip is black polymer with longitudinal ribs for positive purchase. Twin cocking knobs provide ambidextrous charging.
The chrome-lined barrel is paired with a protected front post and a flip rear sight with 75 m and 150 m notches, offering durable sighting references aligned with the platform's design.
Manufactured in the Czech Republic and imported by CzechPoint, the pistol bears "CZECHPOINT, INC. KNOXVILLE, TN" import marks and a U.S. patent marking on the receiver.
