Browning A-Bolt II Hunter .300 WSM Bolt-Action Rifle, 23 in Barrel, Matte Blued, Walnut Stock (Miroku Japan, 2005)
This Browning A-Bolt II Hunter in .300 WSM pairs a sleek, matte blued steel barreled action with a satin-finished black walnut stock. Built by Miroku in Japan with an MV date code indicating 2005, it features the A-Bolt II three-lug, 60-degree bolt system with a top-tang safety and bolt unlock button. A 23-inch sporter-contour barrel with a recessed crown is marked "PAT. 4723369 A-BOLT CAL. 300 WSM ONLY." The receiver is drilled and tapped, and two-piece bases with rings are installed; there are no iron sights.
The three-lug bolt design gives a short, 60-degree lift for fast cycling. The bolt unlock button allows the action to be cycled while the safety remains engaged. This setup offers confident handling and straightforward operation with the .300 WSM chambering.
The 23-inch steel barrel uses a sporter contour and a recessed crown, and the muzzle is non-threaded. The barrel marking confirms the .300 WSM-only chambering and references the A-Bolt patent.
The satin-finished black walnut stock includes a pistol grip, cut checkering for traction, and factory sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.5, providing a traditional hunting rifle fit.
Feeding is via a hinged floorplate with a detachable box magazine for a 3+1 capacity. The receiver is drilled and tapped and currently fitted with two-piece scope bases and rings. There are no iron sights on this model.
