The Golden Boy configuration combines a blued 20-inch octagon steel barrel with a polished brasslite receiver cover, brass buttplate, and brass barrel band for a classic look and durable construction. The barrel is factory-marked "HENRY REPEATING ARMS - BAYONNE NJ - MADE IN USA."
Chambered for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle, the tubular magazine holds up to 16 rounds of .22 LR. The 1:16 RH twist supports a broad range of rimfire loads for versatile use.
Sighting is straightforward and precise with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight featuring a stepped elevator and a bead front sight. The rifle uses traditional iron sights.
The American walnut straight-grip stock and walnut forend pair with a crescent brass buttplate for a secure shoulder mount. An exposed hammer with a 1/4-cock hammer safety and a 14.5-inch length of pull complete the handling features.
