The variant omits the manual safety and ships with three 21-round magazines, making it a well-equipped factory configuration.

Built on the X-Series full-size platform, the M17X (SKU M17X-9-RX) uses a 4.7 inch non-threaded carbon steel barrel and a striker-fired action with a flat-faced X-Series trigger. This variant is configured without a manual safety and is chambered in 9mm Luger with a 21+1 capacity.
The stainless-steel slide wears a coyote PVD finish and includes front and rear serrations plus an optic cut. Slide markings read "SIG SAUER M17" with additional identifiers MFR: 6ZWB1 and PN: 13067008-1.
Optics and sights are factory-matched: the enclosed SIG Sauer ROMEO-M17 red dot mounts via the M17/M18-specific SIG-LOC footprint and coexists with standard-height SIGLITE night sights (front and rear).
The coyote polymer X-Series grip module adds a flared magwell, extended beavertail, and molded texture for control. Ambidextrous slide catches and an M1913 accessory rail round out the duty-ready feature set. Made in the USA.
