This USP Compact is the Variant 7 LEM configuration, delivering a double-action-only system with the LEM trigger and no external safety or decocker. It uses a bobbed, spurless hammer and a blank pivot cap, providing a smooth, consistent trigger characteristic favored in duty-style setups.
The slide wears HK's Hostile Environment nitro-carburized finish over a German-made assembly with "DE" and "CIP N" proofing. The frame is fiber-reinforced polymer and marked "Made in Germany," with HKI – Columbus, GA import labeling. The slide serial matches the supplied serial, and the recoil system uses a captive spring with a polymer buffer.
An aftermarket RMR-footprint optic mounting plate is installed on the slide. The brand of the plate is not identified. This installation provides a direct mounting interface matching the common RMR footprint without altering the factory sights.
Barrel length is 3.58 inches with polygonal rifling. Sights are fixed 3-dot contrast. Controls include an ambidextrous, paddle-style magazine release. The USP Compact proprietary accessory rail with universal mounting grooves is integrated into the dust cover.
