Sig Sauer P229 Legion SAO 9mm Compact, Pro-Cut Slide, X-RAY3 Sights, 3.9 in Barrel, 10+1, Legion Gray
This compact P229 Legion SAO is a customized example that started life as a standard Legion SAO and was upgraded with a factory SIG Pro-Cut slide assembly. It combines the Legion-series single-action-only, flat-faced trigger and ambidextrous manual safeties with the distinctive Pro-Cut slide features, X-RAY3 day/night sights, and a three-slot accessory rail. It comes in Legion gray with black G10 grips and includes two 10-round magazines.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor scratches and blemishes are present from light handling. The grip screws show pitting.

This pistol began as a standard P229 Legion SAO and was upgraded with a SIG Pro-Cut slide assembly. The Pro-Cut slide adds lightening windows, a removable top plate, and front and rear cocking serrations while retaining the Legion gray finish and slide markings of "SIG SAUER P229." The chamber is marked "9mm x 19."
The single-action-only, hammer-fired system features a flat-faced trigger and ambidextrous manual safeties. The alloy frame wears the Legion gray finish and includes front-strap and under-guard checkering for secure handling. Black G10 grips with Legion medallions complete the Legion configuration.
Sighting is via SIG X-RAY3 day/night sights, with a green-dot front blade and two-dot rear. An accessory rail with three slots supports common light and laser attachments. The compact 3.9 in barrel maintains the P229’s proven balance and handling.
Capacity is 10+1 in 9mm Luger, and this example includes two factory SIG SAUER P229-1 steel magazines. It ships with the SIG SAUER factory gray hard case, P-Series manual, and Legion booklet.
