This limited TALO Distributor Exclusive highlights Ruger’s compact SP101 with the Model 5774 setup. It features Novak LoMount fixed rear sights and a pinned gold-bead front blade for a crisp, highly visible sight picture, plus black rubber grips with engraved hardwood inserts and Ruger medallions.
The revolver is built entirely in stainless steel with a satin finish across the frame, cylinder, and barrel. A 2.25" barrel with a full underlug and ejector-rod shroud balances the compact profile. Ruger’s solid frame design without side plates and a triple-locking cylinder add to the platform’s robust construction.
It uses a double-action/single-action system with a smooth-faced trigger and an exposed hammer featuring a checkered spur. A transfer-bar safety is integral to the design. The cylinder holds five rounds of .357 Magnum.
Barrel specs include a 1:16" right-hand twist and rifling with 5 grooves. The pinned front sight allows for secure installation in this configuration. The revolver is made in the USA and marked by Ruger as mfg part number 5774.
