The ZPAPM70 is built on a 1.5 mm stamped receiver paired with an RPK-style bulged front trunnion, delivering the reinforced M70 pattern buyers look for. It uses a proven semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system and accepts detachable AK-pattern double-stack magazines.
The 16.3 in barrel is cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined for durability. The muzzle is threaded M14x1 LH and fitted with a thread protector. This setup supports common AK pattern muzzle devices while protecting the threads when not in use.
Classic hardwood furniture completes the rifle: a fixed stock with a 12.75 in length of pull, a hardwood pistol grip, and M70-pattern hardwood handguards with a vented lower. A cleaning rod rides under the barrel, and sling points include a front loop under the gas block and a rear swivel on the buttstock.
Sights are traditional and practical: a protected post front and a tangent leaf rear adjustable and graduated 1-10. Controls include a paddle-style magazine release and a manual safety with SAFE/FIRE selector markings. Capacity is 30+1 with standard double-stack magazines.
