Made in China and imported by KSI Pomona, CA, this Type 56 SKS retains its core military-pattern features while adding useful upgrades. The steel receiver is marked "NORINCO SKS 7.62x39 CHINA — KSI Pomona, CA," and a triangular arsenal cartouche is present on the receiver. The bolt carrier/charging handle shows the traditional in-the-white finish.
The rifle is set up for detachable SKS "duckbill"-style magazines and comes with one 20-round ProMag, providing a 20+1 capacity. The original fixed magazine is not shown. A rail-equipped replacement receiver cover offers a Picatinny-style mounting surface for accessories.
Traditional SKS iron sights remain in place, with a hooded front post and a tangent rear sight. Up front, the front sight base includes a spike-bayonet lug and cleaning rod channel; the bayonet and cleaning rod are not included.
